Convicted murderer re-arrested in Italy
A Briton convicted of the murder of his former lover was arrested in Italy after breaking the conditions of his licence, it was confirmed yesterday. Simon Wastall was jailed for life in 1994 after he admitted killing Catherine Carey, the mother of his child, at her Leicestershire home.
